CREATIVE GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR PRINT & THE WEB
During four weeks between April and May I had the honour of painting two 1200mm x 800mm canvas' of Everton FC's double winning 1985 squad. This was the team I worshipped growing up as a youngster (and still do!) so when the Club commissioned me to paint them for its Official 1985 Double Winning 25th Anniversary Dinner celebrating the squad I was thrilled.
Both paintings were signed by the players on the night with one of them sold at auction for £2500. The money raised went to Everton Former Players' Foundation and The Rhys Jones Memorial Fund.
The other painting now hangs in the Club's Goodison Park stadium. Below are photo's of the canvas' being painted and the finished pieces being signed by the players.
